Anyone interested in coaching football or cheer MUST obtain both state Child Abuse and state Criminal Record checks every season. Failure to provide proof of both clearances will result in failure to coach.
New clearance requirements for adult volunteers responsible for the welfare of a child or having direct contact with children went into effect 7/1/2015. New clearance requirements if a volunteer has been a resident of PA continuously for the past 10 years:

- ChildLine (PA Child Abuse History Clearance through the Department of Human Services) https://www.compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home
- Signed Disclaimer affirming no charges in other states that would prohibit selection as a volunteer
